We are now several weeks into college football and things have changed so much at my house. I am a passionate Texas Longhorn viewer - I don't even watch games in front of people that aren't my family. I am known to throw pillows, shoes, scream, get up and pace the floors, switch TV's to get luck on my side, etc. Like I said, I am just a tiny bit passionate. :)
But, this year is different - I have this beautiful little girl now.
So, do you wanna know how things have changed?
- I haven't thrown a pillow or a shoe this season or anything else for that matter! I don't want to accidentally hit a beautiful little angel.
- There really hasn't been any screaming - I don't want to disturb a peaceful sleeping baby.
- Speaking of sleeping, the night games always coincide with our bedtime routine - so I pause the game so I can feed and read to Harper and get her to bed. I love those times. On my phone I get scoring updates from an ESPN app, so I have to hide my phone so I don't know what is going on until I get caught up in the game again.
It is just amazing how everything changes when a baby enters your life, but I couldn't ask for anything better. I love her so much...she is such a joy!
With all the being said, there is a big game on at 11 am Central Saturday and Harper and I say, "Hook'em Horns!" And, is it terrible that I will have to teach her to say OU Sucks when she is old enough. Ha!
Toodles!
